I spend a day with my Phnom Penh real estate agent Untac to view a number of developments in the Cambodian capital city. We visit a midrange tower project in the Russian Market neighborhood as well as the top luxury development currently being built in the city before heading to the BKK1 district to view an apartment on the secondary market. We do full rental yield calculations for each property, taking into consideration occupancy rates, developer risk, and price. We also explore how to buy Cambodian real estate remotely and with cryptocurrency.

I met with my insurance broker Warren to discuss the pitfalls of buying international health coverage as a traveler, expatriate or nomad. We go over some common mistakes that people make when browsing and signing up for plans and highlight important considerations regarding policies and insurers.

I met with my agent Diego in a coastal area near Managua, Nicaragua to look at cheap oceanfront plots of land with good potential for capital appreciation. We visit a plot and adjacent development, examine the local road infrastructure and consider political and macroeconomic trends that could contribute to the appreciation of land in this area.
