When will the Argentina CBI be open for applications?
Applications are expected to begin in Q4 of 2026.
It will be open to citizens of most countries who can complete a qualifying donation to the National Treasury or investment in government bonds.
More information will be forthcoming. As we understand, there is still the potential for legal or legislative challenges surrounding the program. The Wandering Investor will be tracking developments closely and sharing updates with our clients as details emerge.

Who can apply
The main applicant may add their spouse as well as children under 18, as well as children under 25 who are financially dependent and unmarried. Additional dependent fees in the form of donation will apply.

What are the investment options for the Argentina CBI?
There are two options to qualify for this program:
Donation to National Treasury
A non-refundable donation sum to Argentina’s National Treasury of $350,000 USD.
Investment in Government Bonds
A $800,000 USD investment in a 7-year government bond at 0% interest.
Dependent Costs
$100,000 per spouse or child between the ages of 18-25. $25,000 per child under 18. These take the form of a donation regardless of which option you choose.
Documents required to apply for citizenship by investment in Argentina
Full requirements are not yet available, but will likely consist of standard documents relating to identity as well as income and wealth disclosures.
