Who is the Georgian sole proprietorship residency for?

This residency can also be achieved by establishing a Limited Liability Company (LLC), but a sole proprietorship is a better choice for most individuals due to its simplicity and lower cost.

Validity and renewal process

This residency has a starting validity of one year, but you must set foot in the country at least once every 180 days to keep the associated work permit active. You can then renew the residency for two year terms, and they will grant an additional year of validity for every 20,000 lari (€16,000) you deposit in a Georgian account prior to filing for renewal. It can be renewed for a maximum of 11 years, and after 10 years you can apply for permanent residency.
